Moving between countries so often, I experienced countless identity shifts—adapting to new languages, customs, and environments. Perfume was the first thing that gave me a sense of constancy. When I received my first perfume as a gift, I began noticing how I associated people with their unique scents. I love how perfume interacts with individual chemistry, creating a signature that’s entirely your own.
Most importantly, scent carries memory. Every fragrance I wear is tied to moments, places, and people, forming a sensory archive of my life. For me, perfume is identity, memory, and storytelling—all in a bottle. That’s why aVoid became my capstone project: through this fragrance, I wanted to create a scent people would associate with today’s senior capstone, capturing this moment in memory and identity.
An interactive experience that offers a unique olfactory journey through my collection of scents, where each perfume becomes a vibrant chapter, weaving together memories and personal identities, inviting you to explore the nuanced layers of who I am.
